DO YOU DO WEDDING CAKES?
I get this question a lot. I make cakes! So yes - I make wedding cakes. There is no difference in your cake ordering or price.
DO YOU ALWAYS PUT FRESH FLORALS ON CAKES?
Yes! But I’m always down to collaborate on a cake where it’s covered in something else (fun examples are fruit and vegetables)
WHERE DO YOU SOURCE YOUR FLOWERS?
I use non-toxic flowers from local farmers or from the Seattle Growers Market. If specifically asked to use a toxic flower, I’ll sometimes say yes depending on the varietal, and if those are used, there are safety measures in place to prevent exposure.
DO YOU DO TASTINGS?
You can order tasting cakes on my cake ordering site HERE - please keep in mind these cakes are naked 1-layer cakes with buttercream and a filling if chosen.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE CAN I ORDER?
I opened my books for wedding cakes in late Feb and I can do up to 3-4 weddings a week from May-September, closing off the weekend availability based on first come first serve basis. If your wedding is between October-December, you don’t have to book this far in advance (closer to June!)
DO YOU DELIVER?
I do not deliver! I recommend picking up the day of or before at the bakery in LQA.
DO YOU OFFER WEDDING DESSERTS OTHER THAN CAKE?
Yes! I can do mini cakes, tiramisus, pavlovas, eton mess’, cream puffs - and more!
CAN MY FLORIST ADD FLOWERS TO YOUR CAKE?
No. I don’t know where they source their flowers from -and even if I do- respectfully, I can’t trust another vendor to know the toxicity, cleanliness, etc on an item that goes into a cake you or your guest will consume. I specifically place flowers based on what I think works best for the placement for the cake. As much as I love and respect other people’s creative vision - you are ordering a cake from me based on my specific creative vision.
I DON’T SEE A FLAVOR I LIKE ON YOUR MENU - CAN I ORDER A CUSTOM CAKE?
Lets talk!!! 99% of the time it’s a yes. I do not make red velvet cakes, anything with fondant, anything with handwritten piping
